KU Announces two new Goalkeeping Coaches

Kingston United Soccer Club is pleased to announce the addition of two new staff Goalkeeping Coaches:

Ryan Gardner former Technical Portland Coach, OSA Advanced Goalie Diploma, OSA Advanced Coaching Certificate, Coerver Coaching Diploma and Kingston United Soccer Excellence Staff Coach. Ryan’s role with KU is to develop the Goalkeeping Program for U14 and under.
Jim Crockett former National Training Centre Goalie coached by Jim Cannovan and Frank Donlevey, spent time in England with Aston Villa FC and was the Goal Keeper for the Western Ontario Mustangs. Jim’s role with KU is to develop the Goalkeeping Program for U15 and up.
Both coaches are part of the Technical Direction Group under the direction of Carlo Cannovan and will be coaching for Kingston United during the Winter and Summer Season. 
 
U10 Competive Boys Indoor Practice
There is winter training for the Kingston United U10 boys competitive
program.  The details are:

MacArthur College gym
Sundays 2-3pm
Feb 5th - April 1st *(excluding Feb 19th)
*cost $30 (for 8 weeks)

2011/2012 Indoor Development Program Information

Soccer Excellence Program

Sessions are cancelled for January 21, January 28 and February 25. The program will be extended by three weeks to make up all sessions.

Saturday Sessions at Lasalle Secondary School:

The Winter program will resume on Saturday January 14th.   
 

10 - 11 am U14/15 Boys

11 - 12 pm U9 Girls

12 - 1 pm U14 Girls

1 - 2 pm U10/11 Girls

2 - 3 pm U12/13 Boys

3 - 4 pm U12/13 Girls

Wednesday Sessions at McArthur Gymnasium:
 
 The Winter program will resume on Wednesday January 11th.   
 

5 - 6 U9 Boys

6 - 7 pm U10 Boys

7 to 8 pm U11 Boys

 
 
U6 Super Liga
Lasalle Secondary School starting Sunday January 15, 2012 from 09:00 to 10:00 am

The program is cancelled for January 22 and January 29. The program will be extended by two weeks to make up all sessions.

ADP program
Lasalle Secondary School starting Sunday January 15, 2012 from 10:00 to 11:00 am

Please remember to bring/wear to all sessions:
 
·         Tshirt and Shorts
·         Socks
·         Shin Pads
·         Indoor running shoes or turf shoes

Office is Open!

Our new office is located at 1121 John Counter Blvd (near UPS and Tom's Barbershop).  We are open Monday - Thursday from 10am-2pm.  The telephone number is 613-531-9760.  During inclement weather it may be difficult for staff to be present at the office and we recommend that you telephone to make sure that someone is there.

Office will be closed on all Statutory Holidays.

Help a Child Play Soccer

To help those in need, the Kingston United Soccer Club has created a fund in partnership with the Community Foundation for Kingston & Area and the City of Kingston to help offset fees for eligible families and to ensure children in the area have access to organized soccer.

Kingston United needs your support to help us ensure that all children have an opportunity to engage in an active lifestyle. For more details read here
