Referees - Overview

Kingston United Soccer Club has over 60 House League games every week, may of them for children in our U8, U10 and U12 Divisions.

You must be 12 or 13 years old and take the Mini Soccer Referee course to referee games in our U8 division.  You may then also work as a linesperson for older games.

You must be 14 years or older and take a course offered through the OSA to referee games at U10 and up. 

Refereeing soccer is just like many summer jobs for students.  You must be committed to working your scheduled games, and there are repurcussions to missing games.

Job Description

Refereeing soccer can be a fun and satisfying summer job for students, but it does require a certain level of commitment.

Referees are expected to show up consistently and promptly for every scheduled game.
